Feels like you've put on a suit that's a little too big. The lady who had the wine tasting was great, the entrecôte was nicely cooked. It was a long wait for most things; we were advised to bring in a starter as the meat takes a long time to cook (?). It gets strange when you order parmesan chips with nice accessories for the bubble and get potato chips that felt like they came straight out of the bag. Yes, the waitress understood that we thought it was a different dish than what we ordered. She took it out and left it there. One expects more from a restaurant that sets itself at this level.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Köksbaren, a restaurant that offers a creative blend of different cuisines and local products. The service was impeccable, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and elegant. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We had the menu and the portions were just fine and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Köksbaren to anyone looking for a pure and amazing fusion food experience in Umeå as it is probably the best restaurant in town Price per person: kr 1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
