Some may call it pricey but it was worth every bit. The dishes were perfect on their own but sake pairing made it even more fascinating. And i really appreciate your consideration and kindness despite of sudden uncertainty. I look forward to visiting again with my parents next time! Attentive and caring chef and staff who serve fresh local food in a beautiful setting. I think the chef should be bolder and explore more creative expressions of local ingredients with more techniques. A nice experience and lovely people but for me the dishes were a little inconsistent, so I have to say it was not the best kaiseki I've ever had even though some dishes like the lake salmon with plum shoyu and the beef tongue consomme were very special.
