Absolutely delicious burger in this "out of the way restaurant" tucked in the corner for car park by an army recruiting station. What a pleasant surprise, after several days of overpriced tourist traps & overpriced food. I was pleasantly impressed with the delicious burger / well worth the price.

Came here because of the good reviews. Had a different experience. Got the Rodzilla and catch of the day. The catch was ahi and it wasn't bad. The lobster cake wasn't very tasty. Also got a cheeseburger and it did take a long time to cook but we were warned about that. She asked how we wanted it cooked and we replied medium. It was cooked to well done. The chips that it came with were the best part of the meal. We asked for white rice and we got brown rice. The dining area is picnic tables in a parking lot. When on the big island go eat somewhere down on the water. At least if the food is subpar the view won't be.

I've known Bryan since Sundried Specialty days and Kona Grill House in the old location. Kanoa Grill has the best of the best of his food and the new location in the old Safeway Plaza is great for both tourists and locals. Bryan's food never disappoints from the lobster crab cake to the "rodzilla" the fish is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. Poke is always fresh and well-seasoned as well. Bryan has been cooking for over 20 years here on island and I've had the pleasure of enjoying his seasoned prime rib many times, so if you can score some, go for it! Bryan also catered a party at my house a few weeks ago and the food was off the hook as always, so if your local check out his catering business too. You'll never be disappointed by Bryan's food or his team's service when you dine with them.
