I tried this place because of the ads but it was a disappointment. The price of food was way to high for what the quality and quantity we received. The menu was more on sushi (which was fine) but it didn't reflect why the name of the restaurant is Kona Grill. Shouldn't it be Kona Sushi or Japanese? And if you are looking for Japanese food, go to other restaurants, perhaps you pay the same price but better quality and quantity. But their dessert is delicious. Had dinner at Kona Grill - Minnetonka last night and was pleasantly surprised by their late hours, open till midnight! They even offer a late-night happy hour. The sushi was decent, akin to what you'd expect from a mall location, as it's situated in Ridgedale Center. The service was top-notch - our server was both friendly and attentive. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the aquariums, adding a unique charm to the dining experience. A solid choice for a late evening out!
