Located at the heart of Herceg Novi town square, next to the town piaca I.e. farmers market , Old House (Stara Kuća) restaurant is renowned for traditional cuisine and a bohemian place where many renowned writers have been and written about in the past, when the restaurant was called Stara Hercegovina, such as Momo Kapor and Zuko Džumhur. We had a brunch and plates were empty in no time, as the food was delicious! Waiter was very polite, helpful & patient while we were looking through the menu and asking many questions. The service was excellent - we didn’t wait long for the meal, which came served in generous portions piping hot. It opens from 7am and it works till 11pm during summer time (Jun-Sep), and until 9pm the rest of the year. Internet connection is good as well and the toilets are old, but very clean. I don't recommend this place, the service is terrible, the waiter had no patience to wait for order, told us the kitchen is closing in 10mins it was very rude to hear it at 17:30. You cannot pay by card, it's cash only place. The sea bass fish we ordered was good, the chicken was salty and awful.
