Nestled in the heart of Sangenjaya, Konomise is a women-owned restaurant that offers an authentic Japanese dining experience. Known for its charming interior and cozy atmosphere, this small establishment features around 12 seats, providing a more intimate setting for its guests. The restaurant specializes in small plates, with fluffy okonomiyaki being a highlighted dish made by the sole chef at the counter. Customers mention the dishes are so delectable that taking photos often gets forgotten.
Though the restaurant is popular for dinner and solo dining, it doesn't deliver or offer takeout services. Instead, patrons are invited to enjoy a leisurely meal with full table service from 6 PM to 10 PM each day. Reservations are accepted, allowing groups to plan ahead for an evening of comfort and hearty Japanese flavors. While there might be some accessibility limitations, making it potentially difficult for wheelchair users, guests are encouraged to enjoy the casual dining environment suitable for relaxed dining.
The most recent customer feedback dates back four years, noting a serene setting paired with delicious meals as reasons to return. With credit cards accepted, the payment process is straightforward, although specific pricing information isn't provided. While the ambience appears inviting, it's worth noting there's no recent update from the owner regarding any changes or new offerings since the last review. Located along Sangenjaya, Konomise stands as a quiet destination for those looking to enjoy traditional Japanese fare away from the bustle.
