I'm blown away. This food is incredible. I'm just visiting Nelson and the place I had planned to go for dinner last night was full, so I tried Kootenay Tamil Kitchen on a whim. I'm so glad I did. It was unbelievable, and I came back today. Before you accuse me of hyperbole, let me say that I've eaten a *ton* of Indian food and have actually worked as a server in a couple upscale Indian restaurants. This is some of--if not the--most flavourful and delicious I've ever had. How is this place not packed every night? If you love Indian food (and your appreciation for the cuisine extends beyond butter chicken--though they have that), you've gotta visit Kootenay Tamil Kitchen. Get one of the thalis (I had both the vegetarian and meat) so you can sample a few dishes at once. Thank me later.
