Kor Mediterranean Table on 6th Street in Philly had been on my list for a while since I walk past it almost every day going to and from work. I finally stopped in after work one evening, and I'm so glad I did because this place exceeded my expectations. Kor brings together flavors from across the Eastern Mediterranean, with a menu inspired by Turkish, Greek, and other regional cuisines. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that focuses on authentic mezes, grilled meats, and traditional breakfast dishes instead of trying to Americanize everything. You can tell they take pride in using fresh ingredients and preparing dishes the way they're meant to be enjoyed. We only stopped in for a few snacks this time, but I'll absolutely be back for a full meal. One thing already on my list is their Grand Turkish Breakfast (Serpme). If you've never had one before, it's a traditional Turkish breakfast served family-style with a variety of cheeses, spreads, olives, eggs, breads, jams, vegetables, and more. It's meant to be a leisurely meal shared with family or friends, and after seeing it on the menu, I know that's what I'm ordering next visit. This time we ordered the KOR Tasting Board, and I honestly don't think I'll ever skip it when I come back. It included Tzatziki, Cretan Dip (Girit), Baba Ganoush, Classic Hummus, Shakshuka, and Spinach Tarator. Every single one of the cold mezes was excellent, and it was a great way to sample a variety of flavors. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and it was the perfect appetizer to share. Another bonus is their happy hour. For the quality and amount of food you get, I thought the value was excellent. It's hard to beat the combination of fresh Mediterranean food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the visit, making us feel right at home. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's a great place whether you're grabbing a quick bite after work or settling in for a longer meal. Overall, Kor Mediterranean Table is a hidden gem that I'll definitely be returning to. Next time I'm coming hungry because I already have my eye on the Saffron Chicken Shish and that Grand Turkish Breakfast. If you're in the area and enjoy Mediterranean food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the overall ambience is amazing. Everything we tasted was delicious. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his meal, though he felt the food portions could be slightly more generous. One thing we both enthusiastically agree on: the side salad is phenomenal and literally the best we've had anywhere! Highly recommended.
