Another visit after a long absence. I wondered how the pub had stood the test of time and competition. And I must say it's good. If you're craving a French-style breakfast, you won't be disappointed. We came to Krem for the fondue and we were happy to find a place in Warsaw that served it authentically :) We visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening, so it was mainly empty - the place itself is not too big and usually has big lines for breakfast, but seems not so much for dinner time. Service was quite slow but we came an hour before closing time (which was 8pm that day, a bit early in my opinion). The staff tried to accommodate us but there was only one waiter on the floor and one person in the kitchen. From a food perspective, we came especially for the fondue as we missed it after our Swiss travels, and it did not disappoint. The taste of the fondue itself was quite authentic and we enjoyed the additions that came with it. The only low was that the portion was a bit small for the two of us, we would have loved more of the cheese and less of the additions (we ate about half of what was served before the cheese ended). We asked for a raw egg (we like to crack that into the end of the cheese) and the staff was a bit confused but happy to oblige, which we appreciated! :) Overall a nice experience, will come back another time when the cravings hit!
