Really good tempura batter, the tempura prawns were cooked to perfection! Soft juicy inside and crispy outside. They have definitely mastered the art of deep frying. Best Fish & Chips on the Gold Coast! Krispy Catch in Brown Street, Labrador absolutely deserves five stars. In fact, I think they should be in the running for the best fish and chip shop on the Gold Coast! I’ve travelled around the world and eaten my fair share of fish and chips, and I can genuinely say this is some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the crumbed barramundi, calamari, prawn tempura and a small chips, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. What really stood out to me was how fresh and clean the cooking oil tasted. Nothing was greasy or heavy — the seafood tasted beautifully fresh, almost like it had come straight from the catch of the day. The shop was extremely busy when I visited, which is always a good sign! I accidentally picked up the wrong order to take home because there were so many people waiting. My only little suggestion would be to perhaps write customers’ names on the takeaway orders, which might make it easier when they're really busy. Apart from that, I honestly couldn't fault it. Fresh seafood, crispy coating, beautiful chips and great quality. Krispy Catch, you have definitely won me over. I’ll be back! Five stars from me!
