Although I see a lot of negative reviews, I guess we got lucky. After spending five hours out at sea on a boat under the scorching sun, we wanted a cold beer; the beer made us hungry, so we ordered some food as well. The wait time was short, the waiter was polite and friendly, and the food was tasty—I ordered beef, and the chef prepared it exactly as I had requested. There are many restaurants in the harbor, but I chose this one simply because it was the first one I came across. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €45–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The waiter had an attitude problem the whole time, he was rolling his eyes and making a problem about us wanting to split the bill (he tried to make us pay in cash). The food was at best mediocre. Cocktails had to be paid separately since they were coming from a different bar so we had to wait to pay for a one drink. Price per person: €20–25 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The only good thing about this restaurant is the location. The service is great until you decide to eat there and then they forget about you. Food was less than average. The lamb had no meat on the bones and was severely overcooked and the shrimp risotto had no flavour. Keep walking. There are much better options beyond this in Old Town Rethymno.
