I go to this Starbucks nearly 4 times a week. I'd never had a problem with them. This morning when I went to grab my wife's usual morning order. There was a guy, I hadn't seen before. Along with one of the girls who's typically there. I was waiting on the order and in the span of less than 5 minutes. I saw this kid picking his nose twice. Admittedly it wasn't like he was digging for gold but he was still touching his nose. Scratching at the entrance of his nostril. Then I realized he was the one in charge of heating and packing the food. I watched him do my order to verify he wasn't directly touching the food with his hands. I asked him to go to the side. Told him that as a quick tip. If he's handling food he shouldn't be doing such a thing. He told me off by saying that he wasn't "scratching the inside of his nose". Proceeding by showing me how he'd been scratching. The girl who was wearing a lead barista tag. Had an attitude when she heard me speak to him. I wasn't trying to embarrass the young man but I admittedly don't have the best whisper voice. She overheard and when he turned to her. Her response was "so what I'm your boss". I wasn't trying to play anyone's boss. Merely trying to point out something a health inspector may find unacceptable. For the next time mija, if someone is trying to give you advice and trying to do so on the low without yelling it in front of other customers. I'd take it with grace. This could have just been a nice conversation. In which you took responsibility for your employees if you really are his boss. But instead I am having to post this so higher ups can handle it. The normal experiences I've had throughout the time I've been visiting. Will absolutely be overshadowed by this one incident. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
