Classic diner interior, but adds to the charm. Disappointed in this one visit. Cheese curds were literally swimming in grease, which was old and tasted old. The butter-burger was tiny and so cold the butter was still in its square patty shape. The server recommended the onion rings, which were just so-so. Even the chili was off today. TONS of beans, lukewarm, and didnt taste the way I'm used to it. The chocolate shake was worth the trip, though. I will be back, as I refuse to judge them just by this one bad experience. Overall, and for the last 20 plus years I've been going there, they have the best food ever. Been so long since last time having dinner here. The food was as fantastic as I remember. Phenomenal Cheeseburger and chili. When Kroll's east does come up in conversations people always say food is great there. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hamburger, Bowl of Chili
