Find perfectly cooked Beef Tripe, sisig and pinakbet on the menu. Nothing can be better than eating good halo-halo, ice cream and flans. Delicious coffee is a decent choice.

In a complex with a parking lot with ample parking spaces. Portion sizes are small. The $6 rice was as much as 2 regular bowls of rice. At any 2 item + rice filipino restaurants, 1 bowl of rice is piled high enough for 2 bowls. The beef kaldereta came in a cookie pan... maybe around 7 pieces of beef. The sauce was neither beefy or tomato-y. Best to go somewhere else for this dish. The sisig came in a regular sized pan. I'm used to the raw egg being cracked into it but here they have a fully cooked sunny side up egg on top which doesnt really mix well into the sisig. The flavor was good but the crispy pork belly was rubbery. The shanghai lumpia was short and because of that, there is extra layers of spring roll wrapper which made it hard and not light and crispy. I finally tried out a new Filipino restaurant! I've only been to a couple around Vancouver including Max's restaurant and Kumare. Both experiences were a delight so I was excited to have found Kulinarya Filipino Eatery in Coquitlam. Kulinarya Filipino Eatery is located in Coquitlam Square on Glen Drive right across from Coquitlam Centre. The interior of the restaurant was bright and colourful with tropical vibes throughout. The restaurant wasn't very large on the inside with only 5 dining tables. When we entered to pick up our to-go order, we were greeted with friendly faces and the most amazing service! We noticed that the menu from Kulinarya was a bit different than the others we've tried before. They focused more on meat and seafood dishes rather than rice and noodles. Both of us were feeling like having seafood so we got the fried milk fish and stuffed squid. I thought this dish was going to come with rice but my bad for not reading the menu correctly. The grilled squid was stuffed with a tomato salsa type mixture that included fresh tomatoes, onions, and lots of lemon juice. I loved this dish! It was fresh and perfect to have on the sunny day. My only thing is I wish that there was more of a grilled flavour to it but otherwise it was fantastic! Grayson got the Bangsilog which was a fried milkfish. He never had this type of fish before so he was intrigued. The boneless milk fish was packed full of flavour in every bite. It had a perfect blend of saltiness and sweetness. He loved the "fish sauce" it came with and the gooey egg just tied everything together perfectly.
