The miso soup lacked the flavor of a real miso soup. They serve Escolar and they pass it as white tuna. This fish called Escolar is misrepresented as white tuna (albacore). True white tuna is pale pinkish-white and firm, while Escolar is is much whiter, extremely oily. Escolar can cause gastrointestinal issues in some people due to its high oil content. The prices are so low which is an indication of the quality. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

KUMO, is my go to spot in ridgewood for sushi / all Japanese cuisine. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. I have been going here for years and the service is always top level. Thank you for always taking care of me and my friends whenever I visit.!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
