I am sad to write a bad review now as a regular customer of 10+ years. but for the second year in a row we had to visit the farm as their cheese stand in Pula was closed. I always asked where we could buy the cheese and they replied at the farm directly and to come any time. However, upon arrival up to the end of our short visit (we just came to buy the cheese) we felt very uncomfortably unwelcomd. I thought it was just me, but when I spoke with my family later, they said they felt the same. Everything felt rushed and we had the feeling „just buy the cheese and go“ the hospitality was very poor. I know you all have a lot of work to do, but if you don’t feel like taking „walk in customers“ that really love the cheese you make, maybe you can let us know or figure out another way. Buying your cheese at the Pula market was always a wonderful experience but visiting the farm for the second time has left us feeling unwanted and sad. Especially when we were told not to go towards the goats not to disturb them. We would never disturb them, we love them. Couldn’t explain that to my 4-year old so he just have to leave Kumparicka in tears Hopefully the girls will have the change in attitude because you really do have the best cheese. Cheers! Dear Bea, as a regular customer of 10 plus years it makes me wonder why you never wrote a nice comment but at the first bad experience you have a lot to say… We only sell cheese here and nowhere else currently so you can visit the shop and have the same level of service as you would have received at the market place. Secondly as a customer of 10+ years you probably would know that we usually offer tours, which allow access to the animals and the farm, which without booking you do not have the right to, it is our home so we also have our rules. Thirdly, saying that you cannot see the goats as to not disturb them was a polite way of saying please do not approach the goats as you cannot visit on your own, for many reasons, bio security being just one of them. We are not a zoo nor are we here for us, or our animals to be on display. Thank you for acknowledging the vast amount of work that goes into running a farm, and for next time as I mentioned if you want to see the goats please book a tour.

Visiting Kumparička Organic Goat Farm & Restaurant was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the passion and dedication that goes into running this farm. The tour was both informative and enjoyable. We were able to see the goats up close, and it was clear they are well cared for and loved. Learning about the organic farming practices and the process of making goat cheese was fascinating. The highlight of our visit was the cheese tasting. The variety and quality of the cheeses were simply outstanding—the best we have ever tasted. We couldn't resist buying some to take home. Later, we used the cheese to make pasta and sandwiches, and it elevated our meals to a whole new level. The flavors were rich and complex, truly showcasing the care and craftsmanship put into each product. Kumparička Organic Goat Farm & Restaurant is a must-visit for any cheese lover or anyone interested in organic farming. The combination of a beautiful setting, friendly staff, and exceptional products makes it a five-star destination. Highly recommended!
