I am Taiwanese and I’m very particular with my bubble tea since it’s my turf’s food. I usually go for Gong cha in this area because they are a safe choice. However, this Kung Fu tea has superior bubble making skill than Gong Cha near this area. I had bubble tea here three times and two times the boba is cooked at the right degree of chewyness. Springfield VA location was baaad tonight. They’ve been good and consistent until tonight. Our drinks tasted like they poured a sack of sugar in them. When I asked to replace with less sugar, they refused because we didn’t tell them that when we ordered and we already drank some. Well Duh! How would we know it was too sweet if we didn’t taste it? We had to throw out the cups still over 3/4 full. The product and customer service was subpar, unsatisfactory, rude, disrespectful. This is not typical of KFT staff, but tonight’s was unacceptable.
