We experienced some confusion regarding an 800 yen service charge that was not clearly explained to us at first. While we were in the middle of ordering, the staff member mentioned “800 yen,” which we initially understood as the price for water. We later realized it was actually a service charge, but this was not clearly communicated, which led to the misunderstanding. During the interaction, the staff member said “okay, you go” while we were still trying to understand and place our order. The tone felt abrupt to us. There seemed to be a language barrier, and unfortunately we were not able to fully clarify the situation. As visitors, we would have appreciated clearer communication. It says ``standing bar'', but it's not ``standing bar''. We took advantage of the outside seating on a slightly warm evening in early spring.
