Let me just get right to the point. The service was SLOW. Not just like, "ok I'll wait for fifteen minutes for my food while I enjoy my beer". But more like +30 minutes for a simple dish. Just for perspective. I lived right next door, so I put on the washing machine just before heading out (2 hour programme) - thinking I'll make it back home with good margins after a quick bite. I guess that was way beyond what could be expected at this restaurant. About 2/3 of my way trough the seating, I had to walk home to dry my laundry while waiting for my food. Just to come back with my food still not prepared. We had only ordered some sandwiches mind you (the ones you'll find from other reviews). Finally got those amazing looking sandwiches. To my horror, the meat was tough, like chewing gum. And the bread was some generic ultra processed loaf, like the ones found in the US with no experation date. Hamburger steak was alright. Too bad the portion size had be starved until the next item arrived. If we hadn't ordered everything as we sat down. We'd be heading for the door halfway through. Honestly, would have a better dining experience at 7-Eleven. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We had a wonderful supper at this izakaya. Love the food and the ambiance. No regrets on the extra calories lol. The eggplants is to die for Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
