Nice, little Japanese restaurant in Sonoma County. Love how the chef took extra care in greeting guests after cooking our meals. Would recommend if you are craving Japanese food and around this area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got the chirashi plate and edamame to go. Everything was super fresh, they have a different pickled ginger than im used to, theirs is more savory than sweet which I do not mind at all. They also do have tamari available for the gluten free folks. Ill be back for sure. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: They have tamari!

It was our first time in Kyoto Restaurant. We decided to explore other sushi restaurants, while the owners of our favorite spot were on vacation. My husband ordered a Philadelphia roll and a New York roll. Simple rolls that tasted ok. I tried the Rohnert Park roll and the Annie Special roll. Omg, it was bad. The rolls were extremely dry and lacked flavor. Basically bland, dry rolls and nothing else. If you stick to simple rolls, they are more than likely going to taste ok, because it’s hard to mess up something simple. But do not order anything “complicated”, it’s not going to taste good. Another complaint was cleanliness. There were ants on the table, little flies flying around, and the utensils were not clean. The table was very sticky, I couldn't even put my hands on it. Overall, this place really needs to improve its cleaning standards. The service was mediocre as well. Not coming back. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
