A nice surprise was the dinner organized by friends who introduced us to this fish restaurant whose existence we really didn't know (and to think that it boasts registration among the "historic shops" of Rimini ). The Bar Restaurant L'Ancora Rimini is managed and run by the one and only wonderful Augusta. She is the owner, the waitress, the cook and she always tidies up at the end of the shift. Here time has stopped in the 70s and the fish served is fresh and cooked like our mothers did. You need to book several days in advance and you eat what Augusta manages to find on the same day, only fresh and in the quantity you need, so... No menu! We eat what there is! For the sum of 30 euros we were served two cold appetizers (seafood salad and marinated anchovies), two hot appetizers (cuttlefish with peas and clams), an encore of first courses (risotto and tagliolini with seafood), a mixed grill, a fried (still made in a pan, like in the past) and lemon sorbet. Obviously we accompanied everything with fresh white wine, the Famoso from the Santa Lucia biodynamic winery.
