Eglise de l'Immaculee Conception is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. L'Assiette sur la Place is famous for offering French cuisine. You will like its food, especially good risotto, tartare and pasta. Try tasty parfait. This place offers the delicious wine selection. Great coffee will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.
The positive aspect of this spot is that the staff is competent. Enjoyable service is something clients appreciate here. You will definitely appreciate the calm ambiance and terrific decor. This restaurant is ranked 4.5 within the Google grading system.

We had made reservations for dinner at a gluten free pizza place not too far away, which unexplainably was closed. So I just started Google mapping "restaurants near me" and looking at those highly rated but not terribly expensive. This place looked fit the bill after reviewing the Google reviews and photos. We were welcomed despite not having a reservation until 10 minutes before we arrived. Our French is horrible ( something we are working on) but the seurver did her best with us. Thank goodness for Google Translate! The service was appropriately prompt without being overwhelmed. Despite our poor French language skills, we ordered with out incident. The wine list is abbreviated and features predominantly local “ Cotes de Rhône” wines. The appellation “St. Jacques’s" was very good. The vegetable soup of the day was a creamy Broccoli that was very buttery and absolutely delicious. Our plats were “Tartare de bœuf” and “Paleron de veau “. Tartare de bœuf is a bit scary to order quite frankly. But we had spent a week in France before coming to Lyon and hadn't had one complaint about the food, wine nor people! However, at L'assiette sur la Place, you can place your trust in the chef. The Tartare was excellently prepared. Same with the veal! It was composed but tender no true need for a knife. For dessert, We opted for cafe allonge’s with our Tiramisu and Panna Cotta, both which were both very good! Unequivocally, Highly recommended. Bon Appetit! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
