Otaru Beer Leibespeise is far and away my most favourite pub in Hokkaido! The twice-a-month beer club is the highlight. The beers are excellent and evoke a pleasant nostalgia for Germany, as does the expansive food menu. The staff is efficient, friendly and patient. The service is the fastest I have ever experienced during my time in Japan. If one is ever in Sapporo, this is a place that one must visit! I can not recommend it highly enough.
