I’m impressed not only by the food and wine pairing, but also the ambience, decoration and music background. Their sommelier Mr Kazuki Tojo converses well in English. He is our server that evening and is attentive to our needs. My husband and I have had an enjoyable experience, thanks to our son who has lived in Tokyo and appreciates good food and wine. November 24, 2017 Previously it was a casual French bar ``Corculum'', but on October 2 it was renovated as a modern French restaurant ``L'ESSOR'' that mainly serves course meals. I entered the store after making a reservation for the following courses at EPARK Gourmet the day before. “Plan with 2 desserts” 2,000 yen Consists of amuse, appetizer, fish or meat dish, 2 types of dessert, and coffee or tea. Individual dishes change completely daily. For black tea, you can choose from Earl Gray or Darjeeling. The regular menu only has one dessert for the same price, so it looks like an EPARK gourmet original course. When I entered the restaurant, it had a woody interior when it was ``Corkrum'', but it has been transformed into a modern space with a white theme, and I was guided to a counter seat with a view of the kitchen. Amuse “Mushroom Potage” A dish made with mushroom potage and foamed milk. The concentrated flavor of mushrooms and the gentle aftertaste of milk are delicious. Appetizer “Cod Branded Vegetable Garden Style” A local dish from the south of France that is made by boiling cod in milk and adding potatoes to make a paste. The base is milk and potatoes, so it has a mild taste, but the herbs mixed together add a nice accent. You can also eat it with the baguette that comes with it. Fish dish “Red sea bream à la plancha, Fenouille braised jeu de poisson” Teppanyaki red sea bream topped with seafood sauce. Fenouille is fennel. Potatoes are also hidden under the feneuille. The red sea bream has a perfect finish, with fluffy flesh and crispy skin. The seafood sauce is also very flavorful and delicious! Fenouille resembles celery and has a bit of a habit, but it goes well with red sea bream. The deliciousness of vegetables has been well-received since the days of ``Korkurum,'' so it's no surprise. Dessert 1 “Blancmange and seasonal fruits with pear sauce” A combination of rich blancmange and pear. very delicious. Dessert 2 “Baked sweets, gateau chocolate, raw chocolate” For dessert 2, I received two servings. Gateau chocolate's smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture and elegant sweetness are noteworthy. The raw chocolate contains whiskey and is meltingly delicious. Overall, 2,000 yen is very cheap for this content. There is no service charge, but the hospitality is very attentive and wonderful, such as offering a warm baguette as soon as you run out of baguette, refilling your tea without you having to ask, and even refilling your dessert. Although it has become difficult to casually visit Lehman during lunch time, I think it was the right decision to change the direction of the restaurant to focus on course meals. If I have a chance, I would like to come again for the meat dishes. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000
