As someone who enjoys cooking Italian cuisine myself, I have been fortunate to learn from some exceptional friends and talented chefs over the years. The more you learn about food, the more you appreciate how difficult it is to consistently deliver authentic flavours, perfectly cooked dishes, and a memorable dining experience. That is why I always enjoy returning to L’Italiano. Giuseppe and his team have created something increasingly rare: a restaurant where quality, authenticity, and hospitality come together naturally. The ingredients are treated with respect, the dishes are prepared with care, and the atmosphere makes guests feel genuinely welcome from the moment they arrive. This evening's meal was another reminder that great Italian cuisine is not only about recipes. It is about passion, tradition, attention to detail, and the people behind the experience. The steak was cooked precisely as requested, the pizza reflected the authenticity of Italian cooking, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, food was really authentic italian, large servings, fresh and tasty, fast service, reasonable pricing, will definatly be going back again. First time dining at L'Italiano Restaurant Rockingham and as visitors from Melbourne who often dine out in Lygon Street Carlton where there are some of the best Italian restaurants in the World we were blown away with the quality and flavour of the meals. There were 8 of us dining and we could not fault any of our meals or the amazing service and staff. They were true Italian flavored meals that had been cooked with pride and love. We will return whilst visiting beautiful Rockingham. Definitely worth a visit. 10/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in
