I woke up this morning dreaming about the pucce I had here and as a result regretting that I didn't get just one more. How do I describe how amazing a fluffy, hot bread stuffed with perfectly thin slices of tomato, fresh zucchini and stringy cheese can be. Simple and incredible. I had to do a few double takes every couple of bites and reassure myself there was no prosciutto or meat inside because it was THAT good. The focaccia classica is also amazing and I'm pretty sure I fell a little in love after glimpsing in the kitchen just as the salt was being delicately tossed on top in a sort of romantic waltz. Or maybe it was the Peroni.

I love this shop and the men who work in there are so welcoming. They make delicious sandwiches that are hearty and fresh. The make me feel like I'm home while I'm visiting because of their warm reception. I wish there was a shop just like this back home. On second thought maybe it's good it's all the way in Italy, I'd be eating there daily otherwise ;)

While visiting Family in Rome,we met at this place to eat . What a great family owned and operated sandwich shop with specialties of the Puglia Region . Highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.Fantastic !!!!
