Basically unbeatable when it comes to flavor. Loved it more when it was less popular as the wait can get long. But good for them, they deserve it with how delicious the carne asada and chile rellano burrito is. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Hit La Azteca Tortilleria again and honestly, this spot never disappoints. even compared to the legendary Mexican scene here, I've tasted my fair share of tortillas citywide, but nothing comes close to the chile relleno burrito. Also in an awesome spot in East LA--unpretentious, welcoming, and dripping with culinary tradition. Whether you're here for those unbeatable burritos or the homemade tortillas in town, you're in for a treat. Pro tip: get there early if you want to catch the best picks; they run out sometimes of their iconic stuff but at the same time nothing there is a bad choice.
