We chose a 5-course tasting lunch, the food started coming, and luckily we got to talk to the chef - Erez Ohayon, who turned out to be a friendly, genuine and modest person, who has tons of passion for food.
The man is an artist - every dish was so creative and special, with many different flavors and textures, and surprising combinations, such as the Brulee foie gras with pickled onion sorbet(!) and a buttery brioche loaf - definitely one of the best dishes I've ever had, if not the best of them.
The entire staff was very professional - knowledgeable, attentive (but not pushy), and quick.
If we ever find ourselves in Tuscany again - we would definitely dine there. Highly recommended!
We have eaten in some of the best restaurants throughout Italy and this place was indeed no1.
The creativity of the food, the way it was presented was a captivating version of food art, yet it all tasted incredibly good.
The service was world class from the moment we walked into the restaurant.
Im dissapointed as to why this place has not received a Michilene star yet, we have been to over 50 Michilene star restaurants and nothing comes close.
This is a restaurant not to be missed I highly recommend La Bottega del Buon Caffe to anyone.
