The menu of Mexican cuisine provides authentic dishes at this restaurant. The chef at La Burrita Marina cooks good prawns, octopus and ceviche. The well-trained staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great.

This place popped up on my radar after I saw it featured as having one of the best burritos in LA. It's not really near LA so I figured it was good. It was good but unfortunately I got there a little late and they were out of some stuff. Seafood is fresh and tasty. Need to try again.

La Burrita Marina is a food truck located in the Jurupa Valley in the middle of a quiet street in Riverside. Although the truck is not in a prominent location and miles from the ocean, the taqueros here have mastered the preparation of seafood. They will make your food to order on the grill. The mom and pop operation is run by a really friendly couple. Five stars, drop the mic. The food is that good. A hidden gem that demands more attention, and maybe a better location for the rest of us. I think I may have made a mistake by not getting one of the mixed seafood burritas. I will need to come back soon. With their ceviches, campechanas, sashimi, and agua chiles, there will be plenty of mariscos to sample next time. Tacos Gobernador - Pulpo: The tacos have a double corn tortilla base covered with a crispy cheese layer. Tender chopped up pieces of octopus (pulpo) tentacle are piled onto the tortillas. Octopus is a really underrated meat. It is firm like calamari with a fair amount of chew, yet at the same time it is soft and succulent like a scallop. When the pulpo is grilled on the flattop, it becomes a bit caramelized and flavorful. There's a generous slice of avocado to add rich silkiness. Squeeze some lime juice and you're good to go. There are a couple mayo-based sauces, one with a green tint and neutral taste and the one you will want to drink, an orange tinted sauce with smokiness and spices. Coctel: Get a cup of one of the coctels - pure savory liquid refreshment. The coctel juice is based on tomato juice and has delicious bits of onion, cool cucumber cubes, and cilantro. I got the shrimp coctel and was shocked by the amount of beautiful plump and tender shrimps. The cup seems to be stacked full of dozens of these beauts. The sweet, briny, and tangy coctel is the perfect thing for a hot summer day when you are hungry and thirsty at the same time.
