Welcome to La Calderada, a seafood restaurant nestled within the Hotel Sumpa in Cuenca. Known for its peaceful ambiance, this dining spot offers a tranquil escape complete with a charming garden setting. Guests may enjoy relaxing under the peaceful atmosphere, perhaps while taking advantage of the swing available on-site. Despite its inviting environment, La Calderada maintains a subtle presence online, with minimal representation in popular restaurant directories and only a brief profile on Facebook.
The menu at La Calderada features a range of delectable seafood dishes. Past visitors have praised the quality, particularly recommending the cebiche de camarones and “La Calderada” dish. Though glowing reviews reflect patron satisfaction with both service and flavors, they date back several years, leaving potential guests seeking current guest opinions out of luck. Operating hours allow for lunch and dinner visits every day of the week, but the restaurant remains a bit of an unsung gem among the bustling food scene due to a lack of recent updates or engagement from the owners about current offerings or any possible changes.

We tried the cebiche de camarones and apanados. We were very satisfied by the service and the taste of the food. Both were excellent! Antoño offered us a desert of the house wich was really good as well.
We would definitly recommend this place!
