ULTIMATE DELI RESTAURANT. I stumbled across La Cantinaccia del Popolo while hunting for a place for Apperitivo. Let’s just say it blew out and we had a full lunch instead. The amount of people eating here, both tourists and locals is a strong indicator that the food is probably going to be pretty darn good. The food is simplistic, but quality. Really emphasizing a no fuss, no frills approach to dining. Just keeping true to the produce and ensuring good food leaves the kitchen. This is food that will make you feel at home. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, I had to stop myself from ordering everything. Gluttony is a skill I have in spades. From the cold cuts to the pastas and everything in between, La Cantinaccia will make sure you are well fed.
