Terrible experience, I was there during holidays so the beach was kind of full, we were 4 people and two of my friends already had their drinks, like lots of drinks so they were not going to buy anything, but two of us were going to buy drinks, also all four of us were going to buy food, so we sat on a table and the manager came and told us we couldn't stay because two of our group already had drinks, I told him we were going to buy food for 4 , and drinks for 2, but he said no, refused and told us to leave, so we left, I'm actually a Local, and I you to go there all the time, never again, during low season they basically beg you to sit and order anything. //Spanish Terrible experience, I went during the holidays so the beach was a bit crowded, there were 4 of us and two of my friends already brought their drinks, a lot of drinks so they weren't going to buy drinks, but two of us were going to buy drinks, too The four of us were going to buy food, so we sat at a table and the manager came and told us that we couldn't stay because two of the group already had drinks, I told him that we were going to buy food for the 4 of us, and drinks for 2 , but he said no, he refused and told us to leave, in fact I am a Local, I live here in Vallarta and I used to go there all the time, never again, during the low season they basically beg you to sit down and order something . This is a great beach restaurant. We went here on recommendation from some folks on beach. We weren’t sure we were at the right place until the man who would be our server asked if we are looking for La Carreta? He was wearing a logo shirt. *This is nice because there are a lot beach vendors trying to get your attention* We were in a shrimp mood and ordered coconut shrimp, shrimp filled avocado, and shrimp quesadilla, chips and guacamole. Coconut shrimp portion was freshly cooked and a generous portion. Shrimp quesadilla is highly recommended. The shrimp in avocado was my least favorite, but still delightful. They serve drinks and food to beach chairs which belong to restaurant. If one wanted to spend a couple hours under beach umbrella and lounge chair, the food is reasonably priced. This is another one of those businesses where you can tell the owner takes pride in the business by checking in on how we were doing.
