La Casa de Frida is a very charming place all frida theme decoration it looks more like a museum hahaha it was empty when we arrived so we took our time going from room to room while they were cooking our food. Camarones al Coco Enchiladas de Mole Poblano and Enchiladas Verdes was our picks and I will say my favorite was Enchiladas de Mole Poblano they were so tasty and truly tasted like real poblano Mole they were filled with shredded chicken and came with rise on the side I mixed the mole with the rise and it was delicious. Camarones al Coco was the second best plate shrimp was very good and the coconut gives a great flavor. Enchiladas Verdes was not so good it was just okay I even didn't eat the last one and my auntie said if Gabriel didn't eat that last one is not because he is not hungry anymore I'm pretty sure he just didn't like it, ohh well... she knows me well hahaha. Over all the restaurant is good and customer service is very good too. I do recommend it and I think you will have a great experience and a good meal to enjoy.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, go for the ribs! We ate here twice during our visit, once for breakfast and the second time for dinner. Located two blocks west of the Grand Plaza, this lovely restaurant is a comfortable oasis in a sea of noisy, bland, tourist traps and fast food restaurants. The owner and staff are super friendly and the food was so delicious we wished we could have returned a number of more times. For breakfast we had the chilaquiles con carne and enchiladas mole. Both were enormous portions. The mole is dark and sweet, and the chilaquiles come topped with a generous portion of cheese. Dinner was the standout meal, though, of tender ribs and the chiles en nogado. The chiles was warm instead of cold like it is usually, and the filling sweet, with ground beef, apples, and plantains. It didn't have the pomegranate seeds, so they substituted marachino cherries, which wasn't the worst thing in the world. J gets this every time we visit Mexico and he loved their version of it. I got the ribs. Oh, the ribs! Tender, falling apart in a slightly sweet/spicy sauce and accompanied by a small portion of rice and fries--I was in heaven. I highly recommend the ribs. Prices are quite reasonable. Breakfast, with limonada and tip, came to about 250 pesos, and dinner, with a margarita, tequila sunrise, and tip came to 400 pesos. Definitely worth it!

Had the ribs, loved it. Also had the pitcher of lemonade. Delicious, real lemons where used. I would give it 5 stars but the main dish selection was very limited. Could use maybe three to four more to open up the selection. I recommend for a date night dinner.
