We came in on a Sunday afternoon. There were 4 tables with people and one waitress (Chassy) was waiting on all 4. There were two other waitresses just standing there watching her do LITERALLY everything. She was bartending. Waitressing. Bussing tables all while they sat there and watched her. But even with that being said Chassy made sure we were very well taken care of. 5 stars for the food and Chassy. 0 stars for the rest of the staff there today. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

At the corner of E. Elm and Bank Street in New Albany sits a true community treasure - La Catrina Mexican Kitchen. If you are looking for a good meal with authentic Mexican cuisine, you’ve arrived.The perfect place for a lunch meeting, after-work drink or dinner with a date, the colorful decor draws you into an authentic Mexican vibe. At the bar, the drinks are made to your preference and their signature specials reflect the vibrant colors of the room. Now enter the food - hints of lime, chipotle and cumin will carry you away south of the boarder. I recommend the naked street tacos or the Tinga, but just about any item on the menu will be a pleaser.Outdoor or in-door seating is available. The restaurant also has garage doors to bring in warm breezes in the spring or early fall. Full recommend and encourage you to try it out on your next visit to #OurNA.
