I'm at Parrilla Chiviteria in Porto Alegre, and they don't have strip roast, matambrito, or Uruguayan beer. They can close... I asked to speak to the owner and the attendant told me that the owner is in Florianópolis at another restaurant. Regrettable... What saved us was the service provided by Gaudêncio and Cassiane.

Very poor service, I had to go find a waiter after arriving and wait 10 minutes to be served... I ordered an entrecot which comes with a side dish and salad. This order would cost around 170 reais! It's not cheap. After about 30 minutes the waiter arrives and only brings the entrecot. I ask the waiter, where are the side dishes? It will come After 10 minutes and I charge the waiter again and having already eaten half of the entrecot, fries arrive completely soaked in oil and no salad arrives!!!! I've never seen anything so bizarre in a restaurant! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R$80–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I love this place. Uruguayan dishes are great, plentiful and very well prepared. Highlights include the matambrito a la pizza and the sweet morcilla. All washed down with a Uruguayan beer.
