Museo Ignazio Cerio is a must to visit before wonderful meals at this pizzeria. If you want to try Italian cuisine, get your chance and come to La Cisterna. It's worth visiting this place to try good ravioli, calamari and tuna. Nothing can be better than ordering tasty tiramisu. This spot offers you to try delicious limoncello, house wine or white wine. A lot of visitors order great lemonade or good coffee.

The cosy atmosphere of this pizzeria makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The accommodating staff at La Cisterna can demonstrate how much they appreciate their guests. The cool service is something these restaurateurs care about. From the visitors' point of view, prices are fair. The decor at this place is described as modern. But this spot is not highly estimated by Google users who provided it a below average rating.

Stay away. 90€ for a terrible lunch. The brothers are very welcoming in the alley, but they are con men. (See the other negative reviews.)The restaurant double charges for service: 2€ cover charge per person AND a 10% service charge on every billed item. Be very careful. They drop wine off at your tableor a dessert and imply that it is “dono,”a giftthen charge you for it. If you challenge them about the bill, the owner gets very loud and argumentative, saying you “ordered” the glass of wine or dessert, insisting over and over and over. After that exchange, they cross it off the billand charge the original amount. This place is not worth the pain it offers on a beautiful day in Caprior on any day in Capri. If you think of the place as a cistern of greed, you will be closer than close. STAY AWAY! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €80–90

La Cisterna was by far the best food/meal we had in all of Italy! Rented Airbnb on Capri for 3 days in August with family. Also visited Rome, Naples, Bari. Had dinner at 2 other places on Capri that were tourist traps, much more expensive and no where as good as La Cisterna. Had Pizza, Insalata, Seafood Insalata (Mussels & Clams), Pasta Pomodore, owners local tomatoes (as big as I've ever seen and the best I've ever eaten), homemade raviolis, homemade mozzarella, tiramisu, etc... The owners are 2 brothers, they make their own wine (we drank 2 at dinner and took 2 with us), note the owners picture on the wine bottle. La Cisterna is out of the way and off the main piazza and walkway. I would highly recommend this place for quality of food, value (very inexpensive compared to other tourist traps we ate at), atmosphere, and true local flavor! chow
