We found it very easy to park in the large car park at the entrance to the village, which was still relatively uncrowded at the time. The restaurant is located at the entrance to the village, under the Ansouis castle. The facade is clean and clear, flowery, very welcoming. Proximity to the street is not a problem. A beautiful moment shared for two in a magnificent setting. The welcome and service were perfect throughout our meal today. We chose the 4-course surprise menu and we were delighted. The dishes were sophisticated with a nice variety of tastes. Our 3 recent visits to La Closerie were all beautiful experiences we will treasure. When we had lunch there on oct. 22, which was a farewell meal at the end of our holiday, we were surprised and awed by the extra care that had been taken to welcome us for the second time in a week. Because it was our second time there, the starter, main and dessert of the daily lunch menu had been changed for us, so we could experience even more of the dishes La Closerie has to offer. (Allergies had also been taken into account and thoughtful changes had been made to several of the dishes.) The starter, a more than generous offering of a terrine de foie gras, was an immediate delight. The main, loup de mer was another highlight of the menu. The dessert just a chocolate dream The service was always truly exceptional – also thanks to the wonderful Delphine - and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with beautiful views of autumnal Ansouis Thank you to everyone at La Closerie for offering us such delicious and unforgettable luncheons.
