La Cocina Rica has been a staple for Oxnard residents for years. After moving to Oxnard, this spot came highly recommended, so I had to check it out. It’s a small restaurant with affordable, tasty food. During my visit, I ordered the tacos de asada. The tacos are on the smaller side and not heavily loaded with meat, but they definitely pack a lot of flavor. For the price, there’s really nothing to complain about. If you’re looking for something delicious, you won’t regret stopping by. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best authentic Mexican food restaurant in South Oxnard!!!!! It still surviving after Covid . Best real meat tacos in the area.
