I loved the experience here. Right in the heart of downtown. The outside seating area is beautiful with all the plants and foliage growing. Only real complaint I have is the tables are in the dirt/gravel. So I wouldn’t recommend wearing any nice shoes out there unless you want them to get dirty... But other than that the food was delicious. I popped in for a taste of the ceviché and it was very bright, fresh, and up to expectations. And the server was happy to help me when I asked for a few more tostadas. Also ordered a tequila flight which I thought they could’ve gave a lil bit more of a heavier pour on those especially for $25. Enjoy the pics! My last stop for the finale of Dine Downtown Restaurant Week Sacramento 2020 edition was La Cosecha by Mayahuel. This was my first visit ever, having missed a Yelp Elite Top Secret event in previous years. Party of 2, reservations but it was not busy at all for a Monday holiday evening. The best part about this Dine Downtown Menu is that La Cosecha's was FIVE courses, not just three. To start was a legit bowl (not cup) of pozole (green sauce, mushrooms). The amuse-bouche was a creamy chipotle bacon shrimp brocheta bite (2 on a plate per person!). #3 was said to be a shared course, but each of us got a plate with two carnitas flautas. Choose one entree: carnitas; fire-roasted chicken; chicken enchiladas with either mole, red sauce, or green sauce; cheese tamales. I got the mole enchiladas and Philip R got the fire-roasted chicken. I must admit that after the first three courses, I surrendered after finishing 1.5 of my enchiladas. Choose one dessert: flan, churros, or tres leches cake. Both of us got the tres leches cake which was great, but the churros other tables ordered looked very good too. Not sure if I ever saw the flan. Thanks Elena for great service! This 5 course experience showcased the best of their menu for sure. $40 per person plus tax and tip was not bad at all! I parked at the City Hall Garage, they don't validate unfortunately, and street metered parking was free for the holiday anyway, my bad. Restrooms located outside the main restaurant, maybe by the patio? Restaurant located at the 9th Street side of Cesar Chavez Park.
