My wife and I stayed at La Cotte Farm when we were in Franschhoek for our honeymoon and despite having high expectations, we were so impressed. The grounds themselves were really lovely and it was really nice to walk around, the accommodation was immaculate, the service was fantastic (special shout out to Cassandra who was always on hand to help), and the spa treatments to the room were incredible. We only ate breakfast there due to other plans but that was fantastic too. We ended up staying in the private villa and the whole place was incredible. It was big enough for 10 people yet still really cosy, and the pool area was incredible (with a private sauna right in the pool house). It is also just a short walk away from Pigcasso which was a really lovely way to spend an afternoon with the sanctuary animals and a glass of wine. If we ever manage to make a trip back to Franschhoek we will definitely be staying here again. Highly highly recommended and helped to make our honeymoon extra special. Absolutely loved our visit here. We went for lunch and had amazing food. First, the space is gorgeous, outdoors and indoors. Service was fantastic and with a smile. The food was excellent, loved the ostrich carpaccio and the burger. It was all very tasty. The gardens and views are beautiful too. All in all, a gorgeous place. Service: 5 Location: 5
