Charming little cheese shop. Excellent service and recommendations. Amazing fresh cheeses - buy lots to try. Prices were reasonable. The whole experience was very French and very satisfying. I wish I'd gone back more times.

Fantastic cheese shop with so much variety.  We picked up a few cheeses here to go with some fresh baked baguettes from the bakery down the street on the corner named "Campaillette"(also recommend, best bread of the trip).  The fellow at the shop helped us pick a few good cheeses, a goats milk gouda, a spreadable truffle cheese (must get. truffle brie almost), a standard Camembert and the best butter "Le Beurre Bordier, Esprit De Beurre" (also a must).  If you find yourself in this neighborhood pick up a few cheeses, these were amazing cheeses and the butter was life changing, all other butters are inferior I'm convinced.

We were walking from the St. Martin Canal to our hotel and stumbled upon La Cremerie and were pleasantly surprised.  The shop keepers went out of their way to help us and explain everything!  The cheeses are sorted by the countries (mostly France) where they were made and what kind of animal they came from, all the while giving us samples and advice.  We were looking for a picnic lunch to eat on our forthcoming train trip and they selected the perfect lunch.  The shop is so friendly and well laid out and I can't wait to go back.  It deserves a 5 star rating for sure!!
