I saw the positive review and booked the place but wish we had stayed somewhere else. If you could, avoid the city view room at all cost. The room got so warm even with the AC that we had to open the door to sleep, and it was so loud with all of the traffic. If you could get the ocean view, I can see it being more pleasant. The bed was not that comfortable either so we both didn't get the best sleep. The breakfast was good though with a gorgeous view at the dining area. It's still a decent place for those who want to stay close to Taormina at a lower $ if the items I listed above don't bother you. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 4

Hotel Palladio was simply gorgeous. The staff were attentive, the room homely and clean with wonderful views to the sea and coast from the balcony. (Taormina 10 min away by bus) The locally sourced food for breakfast was divine. A real gem, slightly off the tourist mile. The beach across the road is stunning. I would stay here again Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
