Come without prejudice to discover the place. A duck breast as hard as a rock. A tartare prepared before our eyes but nevertheless very bland. Unpleasant service. Smiling should be a paid option. Luckily the couple next to us brightened up our evening. I don't recommend. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

With friends, we had dinner one evening at La Grande Bouteille, without any particular prejudices. This address is renowned for its meats and its selection of wines. On arrival, we were welcomed into a beautifully decorated room, pleasantly evoking the atmosphere of a cellar with its arches. However, as soon as we opened the menu, the prices of the wines really surprised us with their heights. On the plate, the dishes were well executed. We opted for herring, prepared in a simple way, and homemade pâté. The meats were truly excellent. What baffled us, however, were the sides: a simple bowl of matchstick fries to share. The service was efficient, attentive and friendly. My general impression is that the whole thing lacked balance. The meats and wines, of undeniable quality, logically command a certain price. However, the sides, starters and desserts seemed relatively basic in comparison. I therefore had difficulty forming a clear opinion, taking into account the quality-price ratio of this experience.
