Paying 1.20 for a croissant so that it is very dry and industrial is not normal, the rest of the pastry can be fine but the croissants are not normal. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

La Grange aux Pains is a pleasant place, clean, the staff is friendly and smiling, already that I think is super important: the welcome. And the baker is a true craftsman at heart, a true artist passionate about his profession who does not hesitate to test homemade creations. One more reason to support our artisans. At the Grange aux Pains a large number of different breads are sold, a wide variety of cereal breads of all kinds and even a typical local bread, "la Xertina". The breads are good and that's where you can see the difference with supermarket breads. There is also a very large number of different pastries in this bakery. Chocolate eclairs, cream puffs, nuns, millefeuille, strawberries, Neapolitan, fruit tart, flans, etc... there is even a home-made pastry called Xetinoix. Here we love the job, it can be seen that it is a passion. There is the possibility of ordering cakes especially for birthdays, baptisms, weddings, I've never tried but it's good to know. On the other hand, you have to do it in advance, you can't ask for an artisanal realization the day before, it's something that requires time and organization. Finally, there is also the possibility of drinking a milk chocolate or a coffee on the terrace. It is therefore a little more than a bakery - pastry shop. I did it once with my lover and it was really cool. The time amplitude, from 6 am to 7 pm is interesting, a real help for everyone. It's only closed on Wednesdays. In this regard, I cannot advise you too much to follow the real-time affluence schedules on Google Map because it helps a lot. In general, there can be a bit of a wait between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. My conclusion ? I recommend and give 5 stars.
