La Maison is a charming French bistro located in Place de Saint Ferdinand. It has a classic Parisian atmosphere with both locals and tourists dining. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering English menus and speaking good English. The food is authentically French, with dishes such as bone marrow, escargot, steak tartar, salmon tartar, veal stew, pork terrine, sirloin with fries, lamb stew, BBQ spare ribs, and tarte au citron meringuée. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service is prompt and attentive. La Maison is a great spot for a casual meal away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a perfect place to experience a true French dining experience.
Food was outstanding. Got the duck confit. It was crispy, juicy, tender YUM. My mom got a salad and added salmon, that was also soo yummy. We also got desert that was pretty good, just too sweet for our taste. Service was 10/10. The man spoke fantastic English and was so genuine and funny!! Great personality. The ambiance was quiet and quaint.
All the food we tried was amazing. It's a nice cozy place to sit and have a meal or a snack, and the coffee was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Creme Brulee, Whipped Potatoes, Duck Leg Confit
It is not my first time to la maison, maybe my third time. I like this place in general. We tried the entrecote which was on the extra menu and the confit de canard. They were good but not excellent. I expected the confit de canard to be more juicy. I already tried the magre de canard & tartare de saumon which were really good. As dessert, the creme brulee was excellent. The profiteroles were good. I definitely recommend the berthillon ice cream as well and the cafe gourmand.
