We were looking for a place which got us away from the the busy and chaotic touristic crowds, La Noi was the answer. The host was friendly, welcoming and warmed up as we talked. The concept of La Noi is constant in the décor, layout of the open space kitchen and the description of the menu (feel free to ask the host at any moment any doubts that may occur when she explains what is on the menu for the day, as there is no physical menu - this is their concept). Food was great, we had local made sausages (mix of meat including bear), pastrami and local polenta with cheese. We felt like we were eating soul food! Extremely tasty and we still got some tips on places to visit in Romania. Mihaila's cooking and hospitality was 5* - don't expect a conventional restaurant if you visit La Noi.
