I don’t have enough good things to say about this restaurant, the food is amazing, the waitresses are very nice and attentive, the prices are good for the amount of food that you get! I’ve always had an enjoyable experience! I love their baby churrasco, and their bandeja paisa is the best! If you haven’t tried this place, please do!! Excellent experience! A special thanks to Maryy for her friendly and attentive service, she made us feel truly welcome throughout our visit. The Bandeja Paisa was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavor and generous portions. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! Price per person: $10–20

Conveniently located just behind (or, more accurately, just to the left of) H-E-B on Spring Cypress, La Olla Colombian Restaurant was exactly the experience we were hoping for. After having one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had at Gran Colombia for my fiancée’s birthday just over a month ago, we came here today as newlyweds for one of our very first meals together as husband and wife. Needless to say, my bride was sweating bullets. She had been hyping this place up for weeks and was genuinely nervous that it wouldn’t live up to her expectations or that I’d end up disappointed again. Thankfully, she had nothing to worry about. I ordered the pollo guisado, which was quite different from the Mexican version I’m used to. It had a brighter, more tomato-forward flavor that I really enjoyed. My wife ordered the grilled steak, which was also seasoned and prepared very well. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. Our server, Sandra, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the meal so much that we even ordered another plate to take home with us. Coming here just one day after our wedding made the experience even more special. Considering my bride’s Venezuelan and Colombian roots, I know having a little taste of home meant a great deal to her, and seeing her relax and enjoy the meal made it even more meaningful for me.
