Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of this place. I stumbled on La Pasticciotteria Pecati Salentini while looking for breakfast near the Vatican—and ended up going twice. It’s a small spot with pastries from Salento that taste homemade. The croissant with custard cream and fresh berries was the standout for me. I liked it so much I went back the next morning just to have it again. I also tried the pasticciotto, the rustico, and a pistachio-filled lobster tail pastry. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The crema caffè was icy, creamy, and exactly what I needed on a hot day. It’s casual, friendly, and not packed with tourists.
