The restaurant is plain and simple, rather a large space, with louder music playing and a television although this is not a sports bar (why? In a restaurant?). They have some good things going: cloth napkins and a very nice waiter and the ceviche is delicious but my partner and I did not enjoy the main courses: I had a soap de mariscos and he had a lamb shank that literally fell off the bone and was served as a stew. The soap de mariscos was altogether without anything to commend it and the lamb shank was overcooked. But the ceviche just cannot be beat - wonderful!

I am Peruvian raised, authentic food from Peru served here. So glad we found La Perla! We ordered a variety of dishes so that my husband could appreciate the differences and it was great!
