I read some of the previous poor reviews on Polveriera and I must say, my family’s experience was a completely pleasurable one.Polveriera is a reasonably priced casual bar/restaurant that is perfect for a lunch after having visited the Colosseo. We were a party of 6 and our orders ran the gamut. Salmon salad: pleasant and generous. Pizza: a margherita equivalent to one you’d pay twice as much for in Piazza Navona. Pasta: carbonara, crispy pancetta or guanciale ( wasn’t sure which)couldn’t have been better and at a reasonable price. Hamburger and chips: it was giant! AND… who gives you freshly fried chips?!! And a lot of them too! Meat: abbachio al forno: delicious, tender, had roasted potatoes and a delicious sauce. And caprese. The staff was friendly, attentive, spoke English. All in all, very nice casual place with good food. And why would you open a restaurant anywhere if you didn’t serve good food? Especially in Rome!Don’t remember the price, but very reasonable. Did I mention clean? It was!I am recommending this restaurant. Giving it only 4 stars because its ambiance is comfortable, casual but not anything to write home about
